UNDERSTANDING HOW YOUR PAID FROM CARRIERS

BASED ON YOUR FFL COMP LEVEL...

Example: An agent joins the team at a 110% FFL comp level. He/ she sells an Americo Eagle Policy on a client.

Question- What % would the agent be paid by the carrier?

Answer- On the FFL Comp Guide below, locate your FFL Contract Level (110 % in this example). Go straight across from the FFL Contract until you see the product you sold for that carrier. That is the percentage the insurance carrier pays you for that product.

So 105 is the answer because the agent sold an Americo Eagle product, based on their 110 FFL Contract.

Every carrier pays different percentages based their product and your FFL Contract.
